Canine Visits to Nursing Homes

Currently scheduled for January 5th and January 12th.  Please contact Joan via Facebook for more dates and times.  Dogs must have their canine good citizen certification to participate.

​​Valentine Bears are 20 years old!

Decorating & Delivery dates for 2019 are:

  • We will decorate our bears immediately following the Jan meeting at the Ranch.  If you have any scraps of fabric, ribbon, felt, beads etc. please bring with you to use and share.  We have the bears and a tub of items as well.  We also need extra scissors, hot glue guns, newspaper and extension cords.  

Nursing homes:

Date: February 9th in Windsor and Ft. Collins

"The Valentine Day bear delivery truly brightened the day of the residents here.  Thank you to the club members and parents who were able to attend.  The residents loved receiving the bears and spending time with all of you" - Karen


Caps for Newborns - Hats for the Medical Center of the Rockies NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).  We take the hats around spring break for the babies to keep them loved and warm.  Please contact Leisa for more information.

For 4-H members, community service is a requirement for completion of your record book.  You may complete community service projects on your own, but the club does provide opportunities for service projects that can be done in a group setting.
